Nebraska track and field athlete Lishanna Ilves won both the long jump and the triple jump competitions at the Estonia Championships this week.
On Sunday, Ilves won the triple jump with a mark of 41-5 3/4 (12.64m). She followed on Monday by adding the long jump title with a jump of 19-10 3/4 (6.06m).
Ilves also won gold in the long jump at the Estonian Championships last summer. She went on to compete at the European Athletics Championships, which she will do so again this August in Germany.
Ilves was the 2022 Big Ten outdoor champion in the long jump, her third career Big Ten gold medal in two seasons at Nebraska.
