Lincoln, Neb -- The No. 17 Nebraska women's gymnastics team (3-2, 2-1 Big Ten) battled the Michigan Wolverines (5-0, 3-0 Big Ten) at the Bob Devaney Sports Center. The Wolverines narrowly won the meet by a score of 197.075-196.975.
The Huskers recorded nine season-highs and won three event titles in the Thursday night dual. Freshman Kathryn Thaler won her first event title of her collegiate career with a score of 9.90 on balance beam. Senior Sierra Hassel won the floor exercise title with a score of 9.925, and fellow senior Taylor Houchin took home the uneven bars title with a score of 9.
