Huskers Win Five Events at Prairie Wolf Invitational

A portion of the Nebraska track and field team competed at the Prairie Wolf Invitational, combining for five event victories on Friday at the Devaney Center Indoor Track.

Elliott Purdy posted two top-three finishes, winning the shot put (49-7, 15.11m) and finishing third in the weight throw (50-4 1/2, 15.35m).

Nyabuay Diew had a distance of 43-11 3/4 (13.40m) to win the shot put, while Karlie Moore won the 200m with a run of 25.52. Cory Berg took the title in the men's 200m with time of 22.
