LINCOLN, Neb. - The Nebraska track and field team swept both team titles at the adidas Classic on Saturday in front of 1,371 fans at the Bob Devaney Sports Center Indoor Track. The Huskers collected 16 event titles on their way to sweeping their second straight quad meet of the season.
The Husker men won with 199 points, defeating Illinois State (117), South Dakota (117) and Kansas City (81).
The Big Red women took home the team title with 181 points, trailed by Illinois State (144), South Dakota (144) and Kansas City (61).
Nebraska's shot putters once again led the charge for the Big Red, with Kristina Insingo and Burger Lambrechts Jr.
