Huskers upset Wisconsin, advance in Big Ten Tourney

INDIANAPOLIS – Less than 3 minutes into Thursday’s second-round game at the Big Ten Tournament, Benny Parker dove after a loose ball and crashed into the scorer’s table near the Nebraska bench.

Tim Miles yelled, applauded, raced to Parker and, in jubilation, picked up his 5-foot-9 senior point guard and practically threw him back onto the court.

Miles, the Nebraska coach, slapped his hands together a few more times.

“Hey!” he yelled to his team. “We’re gonna fight, guys!"

Shavon Shields scored 20 points, the Huskers attacked on both ends of the court, and No.
