Lincoln - The Nebraska Rifle team is headed to Lexington, Ky. this weekend for the 2020 NCAA Rifle Championships. The top eight teams in the country will face off March 13-14 for the right to be crowned national champion. Action is scheduled to begin at Memorial Coliseum at 9 a.m. both days.
The Huskers, currently ranked fourth, are set to take on a deep field. Qualifying first overall for the championships is No. 1-ranked and host Kentucky. Defending national champion TCU qualified in second, followed by West Virginia in third. Kentucky, TCU and West Virginia have been the top three teams in the country throughout the season.
