Lincoln, Neb. – Sophomore led the Huskers with three points, as the Nebraska soccer team defeated Weber State, 3-1, at Hibner Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The Husker offense was in control the first half and in the 17th minute, freshman recorded her first point of her Husker career as she shot a corner kick into the top of the goal box. Weber gathered and headed into the back right corner of the net for her second goal of the season.
NU extended its lead in the 33rd minute with a goal by sophomore . dribbled through the Wildcat defense and passed the ball to Peterson who took a shot from the middle of the penalty box and found the back of the net.
