Huskers to wear Helmet Sticker to Honor Wildfire Victims

The Huskers are wearing a second sticker on their helmets this week. This sticker is in honor of the victims of the Tennessee wildfires.

Tennessee saw wildfires sweep through the eastern part of the state at the end of November and beginning of December. The city of Gatlinburg, Tenn. on the edge of Smokey Mountain National Park was heavily affected by the fires.

Earlier this month, Tennessee announced that they would wear their Smoke Grey uniforms in honor of Gatlinburg.
