Lincoln, Neb. – The Nebraska soccer team (0-2-1) played No. 21 Baylor (2-0-1) to a 1-1 draw in front of 1,287 fans at Hibner Stadium on Sunday night.
Both teams scored in the first half before a scoreless second half and two overtime periods. Following a goal by Baylor's Halee Sowinski in the 27th minute, Nebraska senior scored the equalizer in the 36th minute.
Miramontez, who was named to the MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List before the season, fired a shot from long range that found the upper corner of the net for NU's first goal of the regular season.
