The No. 5 Nebraska wrestling team hosted No. 13 Minnesota to open the season and won six of 10 matches on the way to a 22-14 team win Friday night at the Devaney Sports Center.
Nebraska saw some big performances from some known commodities, but it were the newcomers that made the difference for the Huskers, as three of Nebraska’s wins came from wrestlers making their debuts in Husker singlets.
