The grind of playing 12 straight weeks can take it's toll, so Scott Frost gave his players the day off Monday.
"It's not ideal because we need to get ready for this game, but 12 weeks in a row is tough," Frost said at his Monday news conference. "We're going to make up for that time tomorrow, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday."
The Huskers will look to build on Saturday's 53-28 win against Minnesota. The offense racked up a ton of yards, the defense made stops when it needed to and penalties were down.
"We're just starting to execute at a better rate," Frost said of the offense.
