Huskers 'take foot off gas,' fight back for 75-60 victory

One of Tim Miles’ assistant coaches suggested that Miles, the Nebraska head men’s basketball coach, should call a timeout when Delaware State, which had trailed by 25 points, strung together a few points.

Miles decided otherwise, saying he wanted to let his players fight through the rough patch and figure out things on their own.

“I didn’t intend for it to get to four,” Miles said.

Yet that was Nebraska’s lead with five minutes remaining in the game.

Allowing No. 11 Villanova to score 22 straight points on its home court, which happened Tuesday night, is one thing.
