The Nebraska wrestling team had three wrestlers finish fourth and a total of seven find the podium to help the Huskers to a fifth-place finish Sunday during the final day of the Big Ten Championships in East Lansing, Michigan.
Nebraska, which finished with 72½ points, was led by Colton McCrystal at 149 pounds, Tyler Berger (157) and Taylor Venz (184), who each placed fourth.
Ohio State won the team title with 164.5 points, while Penn State (148) was second, Michigan (118) third and Iowa (90.5) fourth.
Venz, the No. 6 seed, defeated fourth-seeded Emery Park of Illinois 9-4 before dropping the third-place match 7-3 to Michigan's Domenic Abounader.
