Huskers Sweep Indiana State, 11-4

Jake Placzek became the first Husker to homer in three straight games since Ben Miller last season, as the Huskers swept the Indiana State Sycamores, winning the finale 11-4. Garrett King picked up his first win of the season, while Placzek was 2-3 with 5 runs batted in.

Nebraska would waste no time on Wednesday afternoon, as the Huskers put up three early runs. Ryan Boldt started with a triple, followed by a Miller home run to left. Luis Alvarado would score a third run thanks to a passed ball, and an error to give the Huskers an early three run lead.
