Lincoln, Neb. – The Nebraska soccer team (1-1-0) picked up its first win of the season with a come-from-behind 2-1 triumph over Oklahoma at Hibner Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Despite the Huskers outshooting the Sooners in the first half, OU struck first with a goal in the 26th minute. Bri Amos scored off an assist from Alexis Washington to take the 1-0 lead.
The Huskers responded in the 55th minute when netter her first goal of the season and her 10th career goal to tie the game at 1-1. passed to who gathered and sent a cross into the penalty box, which Dale headed into the back right corner of the goal.
