Waco, Texas—The Nebraska women's tennis team suffered their first loss of the season to Baylor on Saturday afternoon at the Hawkins Indoor Tennis Center. With the loss, the Huskers fall to 4-1 on the season while Baylor improves to 6-0.
Doubles
Nebraska battled in doubles but came up just short in the deciding match at the No. 1 spot. Chloe and Ellie Kuckelman slipped at No. 2 just before Jessica Aragon and Hayley Haakenstad fought to a 6-4 win at No. 3. At No. 1, Kristina Novak and Claire Reifeis were unable to hold off Baylor in the tiebreaker, falling 6-7 (6).
