HUSKERS SOFTBALL Recap - What Just Happened? : Iowa 5 NEBRASKA 2

For 16 innings, the Nebraska Cornhuskers allowed the Iowa Hawkeyes only a single run - and that one fairly meaningless as part of a 14-1 victory on Saturday - while scoring 28 of their own.

And when they crossed their final two runs in the top of the 3rd, it appeared they were taking control again. However, that inning could’ve been much more when doubles by Jordy Bahl and Kacie Hoffman just missed leaving the park. And with runners on second and third and one out, Iowa ace Jalen Adams, looking very different than the pitcher who was bounced early Friday after walking 6 batters, 5 in one inning, struck out Emmerson Cope and Ava Kuszak to elude further damage.
