I did say this prior to tonights slugfest! Ohio State is no joke because 1) we are currently two of the three most powerful teams in the country dinger-wise and 2) Ohio State threw down the gauntlet in conference last season finishing on an 11-2 run in 2024 before ripping off an 18-5-1 start to 2025.
So here’s the lead - the Nebraska Cornhuskers pulled off a 9-5 win over the Ohio State Buckeyes this evening in Columbus. It was nothing as easy as the score suggests, especially given the Huskers carried a 9-3 into the bottom of the 7th and won the game only after Jordy Bahl - having already surrendered 2 runs in the inning - ripped a dirty as hell dropball under the swing of the incredibly dangerous bat of the Buckeyes’ Morgan Frye to end the game.
