When Jordy Bahl’s transfer was announced from the previous two seasons’ NCAA champion Oklahoma to the Nebraska Cornhuskers, the thrill was due to her generational talent as a pitcher. Scant attention was paid to any impact she might have as a hitter having only taken 40 at-bats at Oklahoma.
Bahl and Coach Rhonda Revelle had other ideas. Ideas on which the Sooners, two national championships or not, may have missed the boat.
After a split of the first two games in this weekend’s series against Washington, the Huskers found themselves in a tie for 4th in the Big 10 standings.
