Since Indiana dominated the Nebraska Cornhuskers in the late innings for the second consecutive game going back to the semi-finals of the 2024 Big 10 tournament, there is really nothing left to do except mock Indiana coach Shonda Stanton whose childish antics, despite multiple warnings, caused her to be ejected in the top of the 6th inning.
When Madalyn Strader rounded third and attempted to make it 3-2, Natalia Hill gunned a throw to Ava Bredwell who slapped the tag on Strader’s heel well up the line for the out. This didn’t stop Stanton from throwing a tantrum which started about 10 feet from home plate, went back to third base, into the infield, to third again - and throw in an arc of screaming at all three umps - then, finally, an ejection which took far too long to issue, and a George Brett-level charge at the home plate umpire which was intercepted by the 3rd base ump.
