The first Corn Nation softball road trip of the season is underway as I sit in a Seattle motel banging away on the keyboard after a 2-day, 1600 mile road odyssey from Omaha via Badlands National Park, The Black Hills, Montana including a small blizzard while crossing through Yellowstone Dutton Ranch country from Livingston to Bozeman and the amazing ranges of western Montana and western Washington, especially the majestic peaks surrounding the last 50 miles or so of I-90 to Seattle.

And yes, I will be watching softball for the next three days, but then it’s time to wander up here for a bit.
