After a cool but beautiful weekend in Wichita produced a 3-2 record, the Huskers, who now sit at 15-6 on the season will finally make their home debut in Bowlin Stadium, which has been shortened by a game due to the cold, rain and snow of the past few days.
The Huskers experience in Wichita started off a little rough on Friday to say the least. Seemingly cruising with a late 4-1 lead against South Dakota St., the Jackrabbits exploded for 4 runs in the 5th and another in the 6th inning to take a 5-4 lead into the 7th.
