The Nebraska track and field team added to its already talented signing class on Monday with the addition of Tyus Wilson. The Sterling, Kan., native owns a personal best of 7-1 in the high jump, the top mark by a men's high school jumper in 2020. Wilson is just one of three prep jumpers in the country to clear seven feet in the high jump this year.
Wilson cleared 7-1 at the 2020 West Coach AAU Jr Olympic Games, winning the competition. He won the Kansas 3A state title as a freshman in 2018 with a jump of 6-6 and repeated as state champion in 2018 with a mark of 6-10.
