Nebraska's already had a steady stream of prospects through Lincoln since spring football began a week ago.
Monday, though, will feature one of the more notable recruits to visit unofficially so far.
That would be 2021 quarterback Dematrius Davis Jr. of Houston. The North Shore signal-caller still has two years of high school ball to play, of course, but NU quarterbacks coach Mario Verduzco and head coach Scott Frost are ahead of the game recruiting quarterbacks.
The Huskers have a 2020 verbal commitment from Logan Smothers (Athens, Alabama) already secured, so Verduzco spent December and January visiting him but also evaluating younger prospects.
