Huskers Set to Compete at Chile Pepper Festival

The Nebraska cross country team continues its season at the 33rd annual Chile Pepper Festival hosted by Arkansas on Friday, Oct. 1 in Fayetteville, Ark. The women's 5K will begin at 5 p.m., with the men's 8K to follow at 5:30 p.m.

The women's field is spread across two races and features 79 teams, including 12 nationally ranked programs at the Division I, Division II and NJCAA level. The men's field has 75 teams competing and has 11 nationally ranked programs at the Division I, Division II and NJCAA level set to compete.

Last Time Out
The Nebraska women placed second in the 5K at the Greeno/Dirksen Invite with 41 points.
