Despite Taylor Venz's 5-0 record and No. 3 national ranking, the Nebraska wrestler is flying under the radar at this weekend's Cliff Keen Invitational in Las Vegas.
Venz is the second seed, behind 2018 national runner-up at 184-pounds Myles Martin of Ohio State. He isn't taking any of his competition lightly, but he said he is looking forward to the opportunity ahead.
"This is just the time to go out and look for opportunities to win a big match," Venz said. "I feel healthy and ready to go. I have my weight and conditioning in check."
Nebraska coach Mark Manning feels the same way.
