Lincoln -- James Palmer Jr. had 15 of his game-high 17 points in the first half, as No. 25 (Coaches) Nebraska improved to 2-0 on the season with an 87-35 victory over Southeastern Louisiana Sunday afternoon.
The Huskers shot 56 percent and put six players in double figures against the Lions, who won 22 games en route to an NIT bid last season. Palmer also added four assists and four steals, as the Huskers first-half runs of 22-0 and 22-2 to build a 36-point halftime cushion.
Glynn Watson Jr. had 16 points and six rebounds, while Isaac Copeland (11), Isaiah Roby (10), Thomas Allen (10) and Brady Heiman (10) all reached double figures to help Nebraska win its 13th straight at home.
