Ann Arbor, Mich. - Jessica Shepard became the first player in Nebraska women's basketball history to record a 30-point, 20-rebound game in school history to power the Huskers to a 93-81 win at Michigan on Sunday.
Shepard, who finished with 35 points and a career-high 20 rebounds, scored 23 points and had 15 rebounds in the second half alone to carry the Big Red to their fifth straight win. Nebraska improved to 14-5 overall and 5-3 in the Big Ten. Michigan slipped to 11-8 overall and 3-5 in the conference.
Shepard added two assists and two blocks, while going 13-for-22 from the field for the game.
