The Nebraska baseball team picked up its first series win since early March Friday night, never trailing in a 9-6 win over Nevada at Haymarket Park.
On a night when the program honored one of its legends with Shane Komine bobblehead night, the Huskers jumped to an 8-3 lead in winning a series for the first time since March 10 against Cal Poly.
That was also the last time the Huskers (19-22) won back-to-back games after sweeping a doubleheader from the Mustangs.
