Nebraska turned eight hits, one sacrifice fly, three stolen bases and two walks in a 5-3 comeback win over the conference-leading Gophers on Friday in the series opener at Siebert Field in Minneapolis.
Jake Meyers finished 4-for-5 with three stolen bases and his one-out, two-RBI single to right center tied the game at 3-3 in the top of the fifth.
Nebraska (22-14-1, 6-3-1 Big Ten) scored two runs off four hits in the top of the eighth inning to break the 3-3 tie.
