Jordy Bahl of the Nebraska Cornhuskers was just tabbed as the Big Ten Pitcher of the Week for the fourth time this season, the second consecutive week and the third time in the last four weeks.
In two appearances this past week, Bahl compiled an ERA of 1.27 and a record of 2-0. Nebraska has already clinched the series win against Northwestern with today’s game still up for grabs. Northwestern has won the last three Big 10 regular season titles and this represents the first conference series Northwestern has lost since 2022. Both of the Huskers’ wins over Northwestern were of the run-rule variety, and it was the first time the Wildcats had been run-ruled in consecutive games since 2017.
