Shannon Stott led four Huskers in the 500 freestyle top five during Thursday night's finals session at the Hawkeye Invitational. Stott, a senior from St. Albans, Great Britain, clocked a NCAA B Standard Cut twice on Thursday, with a 4:44.51 in prelims and a 4:44.97 in finals.
Gena Jorgenson (4:48.19) and Berkeley Livingston (4:48.82) each swam career-best 500 freestyle times to finish third and fourth. Molly Rosenthal joined them in the top five, finishing fifth with a 4:53.33.
