The new Nebraska coach took a step this week to help make that happen. The Huskers hosted a large group of potential walk-ons at Memorial Stadium on Wednesday night.
At least two players were impressed enough to announce their commitment to the Huskers. Lincoln Southwest's Collin Shefke and O'Neill's Wyatt Liewer each announced that they will walk on at Nebraska.
