The Nebraska baseball team (26-16-1, 9-5-1 Big Ten) returns home to host Rutgers (17-25, 5-7 Big Ten) for a three-game series this weekend at Hawks Field.
It is Military Appreciation Weekend at Hawks Field, meaning all veterans and military personnel receive free general admission with military ID for all three games. Nebraska will honor veterans Bob Cerv and George Sullivan this weekend. The first 750 fans through the home plate entrance on Friday night will receive a free Bob Cerv bobblehead. Sullivan celebrates his 90th birthday this weekend, and will throw out the first pitch on Sunday.
Friday night's series opener is set for 6:35 p.
