First off, I get no one is transferring to Nebraska because they think things are going to be easier.
It’s a safe bet that beyond the promise of getting a great shot at playing after being recruited to fill a position of need and trained for a shot at the NFL, another selling point is the chance at a legacy of being a key cog on a team who helped “bring the Huskers back to glory”. And, honestly, that’s some pretty heady stuff for a Division 1 athlete alpha competitor.
But what happens once the whirlwind courting and selection process is over and the experienced transfers make their way to a new campus which will likely be their last?
