Smyrna, Tenn - The Nebraska bowling team placed twelfth on the final day of the Music City Classic Sunday afternoon.
The Huskers kicked off best-of-seven baker-style bracket play against No. 7 Louisiana Tech and fell 4-0. Nebraska lost the first two games (182-174, and 216-206). The bowlers fought hard in the third game, but were edged out (209-206), and fell in game four (179-172).
In the second match, Nebraska faced Youngstown St., and lost 4-0. Unlucky throws kept NU from victory in the first three games (197-189, 196-176, and 186-172), and even with our improved performance, Youngstown St.
