CHAMPAIGN, Ill. - The No. 4 Nebraska volleyball team returned to action after 11 days off and picked up where they left off, sweeping Illinois 25-23, 25-15, 25-22 at Huff Hall on Friday night.
The Huskers (8-1) got 17 kills, six digs and three blocks from Lexi Sun, who hit .342 for the match. Lauren Stivrins chipped in 10 kills and four blocks and hit .471.
Madi Kubik had nine kills and a team-high 11 digs, while Kayla Caffey had seven kills without an error for a .
