La Jolla, Calif. - The Nebraska men's tennis team (3-9, 0-0 Big Ten) came up short on the road against the No. 19 Pepperdine Waves (6-4, 0-0 WCC) 4-0 at the La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club on Thursday afternoon.
Doubles action kicked things off, as Pepperdine's duo of Corrado Summaria and Tim Zeitvogel knocked off Patrick Cacciatore and Calvin Mueller, 6-1, in the No. 3 spot. The Waves followed that up with a victory in the No. 1 spot as Andrew Rogers and Eero Vasa defeated the Huskers' Victor Moreno Lozano and Nic Wiedenhorn, 6-4.
