Columbus, Ohio – The Nebraska rifle team was unable to complete the weekend sweep, falling to Ole Miss, 4,677-4,667 Sunday afternoon.
For the Huskers, Emily Cheramie and Madelynn Erickson led the Huskers with top-five finishes in both events.
"Cheramie and Erickson put forth noteworthy scores," said NU rifle coach Rachel Martin. "However our performance as a team lacked the discipline and execution required for consistent scores, and we paid for it with a loss against our opponent. It will be an intense week of practice for our athletes, and I expect our team to be prepared as we compete against Air Force this coming weekend.
