Norfolk, Va.-- The Nebraska men's tennis team competed in their second match of the weekend on Sunday against the Old Dominion Monarchs. The Huskers (1-5, 0-0 Big Ten) competed in many hard-fought close matches, but ultimately fell to the Monarchs (6-1, 0-0 C-USA).
At the no. 6 spot Shunya Maruyama took a 7-6 lead over Oliver Tobisch, but it wasn't enough to lift the Huskers over the Monarchs in singles competition. Albert Sprlak-Puk faced off against the no. 111 ranked player in the country, Luca Maldoner, at the no. 2 spot.
