Huskers Fall in Final Game of Weekend to Jackrabbits

The Nebraska softball team (11-6) fell in the final game of the weekend to South Dakota State (9-7). Despite a three-run inning in the bottom of the fourth to tie it up, the Huskers were unable to stop the Jackrabbits' momentum through the game, falling 16-4.

Courtney Wallace (6-2) started in the circle for the Big Red. The senior pitched 4.0 innings, striking out three and giving up four runs. Olivia Ferrell (5-3) received the loss after pitching 1.0 innings and giving up four hits and five runs.

Grace Glanzer (3-3) pitched a complete game for the Jackrabbits, striking out five, walking three and giving up seven hits.
