Evanston, Ill. -- The Nebraska men's tennis team (0-4, 0-4 Big Ten) dropped a 4-0 match to the Northwestern Wildcats (4-3, 3-2 Big Ten) on Friday evening at the Combe Tennis Center in Evanston, Ill.
In doubles competition, freshman Nic Wiedenhorn and sophomore Shunya Maruyama won their matchup against Gleb Blekher/Natan Spear in the No. 3 spot, 6-3. Juniors William Gleason and Victor Moreno Lozano fell short to No. 57 Simen Bratholm/Nick Brookes, 4-6, at the No. 1 spot. In the deciding No. 2 matchup, Purdue's Chris Ephron/Dominik Stary outlasted sophomore Albert Sprlak-Puk and junior Brandon Perez, 3-6, winning the doubles point.
