The Nebraska beach volleyball team fell for the first time this season, dropping a 4-1 decision to Texas A&M Kingsville and a 5-0 sweep at the hands of No. 15 TCU on Friday. Both matches were played in Fort Worth, Texas as part of the Horned Frogs Invitational.
Nebraska will play two matches against Abilene Christian on Saturday and another against TCU to wrap up the tournament.
Madi Kubik and Kenzie Knuckles won the Huskers' lone team point of the day. Playing as NU's No. 3 pair, Kubik and Knuckles swept Texas A&M Kingsville's Shelby Williams and Kailey Estrada, 21-14, 21-18.
