Phoenix, Ariz. – The Nebraska baseball team (1-6) allowed eight runs in the fourth inning of a 13-5 loss to No. 12 Arizona State at Phoenix Municipal Stadium on Friday night.
Junior right-hander Max Schreiber, making his first career start and 24th overall appearance at Nebraska, went 3.0 innings and allowed three runs, while notching four strikeouts. NU saw relief appearances from Shay Schanaman, Caleb Feekin, Sayer Diederich, Braxton Bragg and Quinn Mason.
The Huskers went down 1-2-3 in the top of the first.
