The Huskers couldn't get the job done in Lawrence, falling to the unbeaten Kansas Jayhawks 198-107. The Jayhawks started hot early and never looked back, as they improve to 4-0 on the year, while the Huskers drop to 3-1.
Nebraska's distance races were the strongpoint day, as they have been much of the season. Sophomore Audrey Coffey took first place in the 1000 yard free (10:12.86) to achieve another collegiate career best in the category. Rachel Powers followed closely behind, earning herself a runner-up finish (10:17.17) in the race.
In the 500 free, it was junior co-captain Autumn Haebig who came out on top (4:57.
