Lawrence, Kan. - Shannon Stott cruised to titles in the 200 butterfly (2:03.65) and the 500 freestyle (5:00.33), but it wasn't enough to overcome Kansas, as Nebraska swimming and diving fell on Saturday, 157-143.
The 500 freestyle race was a highlight for the Huskers, as Gena Jorgenson finished less than a second behind Stott to take second place with a 5:00.74. Molly Rosenthal completed the top-three sweep for NU, finishing third with a 5:04.68. Jorgenson and Rosenthal teamed up to lead the distance corps and take the top two spots in the 1,000 freestyle earlier in the meet.
