Freshman guard Taylor Kissinger scored 22 points to lead the Nebraska women’s basketball team to a 88-55 win in an exhibition game against Minnesota State Mankato on Sunday at Pinnacle Bank Arena.
She reached her total on 7-of-15 shooting from the field, including four there-pointers. She was also 4-for-4 on free-throws.
Hannah Whitish added 15 points for the Huskers, 10 of them coming in the second half. She also had five assists. Bria Stallworth also had 15 points, and Maddie Simon had 11.
Nebraska took control with a 17-3 run near the end of the second quarter, and led 20-10 at halftime.
