Lincoln – Nebraska closed out its three game home stand with its third straight victory, as the Huskers defeated Arkansas-Pine Bluff, 67-44, Tuesday evening at Pinnacle Bank Arena.
The Golden Lions hung with the Huskers early in the first half and had the game as close as 15-13 at the 8:03 mark. After a Thaddeus Handley jumper brought the game within two points, Nebraska went on a 19-3 run to close out the half and head into the locker room with a 34-16 lead, never looking back in the second half.
Andrew White III led Nebraska with 16 points and five rebounds, while Shavon Shields added 15 points and five rebounds.
