Huskers dominate Lopers in exhibition victory

Everything was clicking for Nebraska, as the Huskers pummeled in-state foe Nebraska-Kearney 94-41 in their lone exhibition women's basketball game Saturday at Pinnacle Bank Arena.

Nebraska dominated early on, scoring 18 bench points and holding the Division II Lopers to 15 percent shooting in the first quarter. One of the two Loper baskets was on a 40-footer by Cierra Dvorak with the shot clock running down after a loose ball.

When Kristian Hudson converted a three-point play in the fourth quarter, all 11 Huskers had scored in the game. Hudson ended up with five points and five assists.
