LINCOLN, NE--- The Nebraska football team practiced in shorts and helmets for approximately 90 minutes on Thursday afternoon. The Huskers offense practiced outside in Memorial Stadium, while the defense worked on the Ed and Joyanne Gass practice fields.
Head Coach Mike Riley spoke with the media after practice about the preparation for Wyoming this weekend.
“[Defensive Lineman] Mick Stoltenberg hurt his knee. He should have a chance to be back for Oregon, He will not play this weekend” said Coach Riley. “It had nothing to do with his previous injury on the same knee.”
Riley also mentioned “[Defensive Tackle] Carlos Davis at this point will start in his place.
